We are a family run business owned by director, Ed Smith. Established in 1963 by his father Alfred William Smith. We are fully licensed and insured and hold all the relevant environmental permits and are registered waste carriers.

How do I receive my payment?

We offer the following two, free of charge payment options:

  • Cheque
  • BACS which will be delivered to your chosen bank within two hours
What happens when I bring my scrap metal to you?

We will weigh the metal, tell you the price and discuss the various payment options with you.

For us to be able to take your scrap metal, you will need to provide us with:

  • Photocard Driving Licence (Full or provisional – in date) OR
  • A Passport with a utility bill, that is dated within the last 3 months
What ID do I need to bring with me?

Here is a list of the ID we currently accept:
